Jumping Dog - My old dog, Pippen, on the beach at Bognor Regis.
This is a very poignant picture for me. I have been lucky enough to see gorillas in the wild and it breaks my heart to see them in cages. The hand on the cage seems to say 'Let me go'. I wanted to include the eyes, OOF but visable.
Rheasus Monkeys - Not one of my more successful pictures but one of my personal favourites. I love the eyes of the mother. It was taken in the old zoo at Bognor Regis with the camera hard against the cage. I went to the zoo late one eveing as there was some super light. The was no one collecting money so I walked in. Apart from 2 boys, playing on an arcade machine, there was no one else. I went round the zoo taking pictures until the light faded. I then went to leave the zoo and found that I had been locked in! I had to climb over two walls to get out.
Rhesus Monkey - also taken at Bognor Zoo, when I got locked in.
Fallow Buck - Petworth Park
Fallow Deer - also taken at Petworth Park.
Meerkatt at Marwell Zoo - one of my favourite animals to watch there.
Bear at the old zoo in Bognor Regis
Fallow Deer at Petworth Park
Red Stag - there were Red Stag at Petworth Park for about a year.
Fallow Deer during the Rut - taken again at Petworth Park. The Fallow Bucks start fighting during the first week or two of October. The height of the rut is close to the full moon, during early October.
Marooned! - two coots looking lost
Caged - another picture trying to emphasise the feeling of being caged.
Pippen - a great dog, a sad loss.
Confrontation - taken in The Gambia
Cow - taken in a barn with just a thin shaft of light picking out the eye and ear.

This is the very rare vampire tortoise. They have tremendous power in their feet and can suddenly spring up, out of nowhere, and go for the throat. I believe they can spring up to 8 feet.
