Girl of the Akha tribe, Thailand - of all the hill tribes, the Akha are reguarded as the lowest in status. Originally from Burma, their traditional head dress has old Burmese coins with King George V head on them. As we were staying in the village, one of four we were to stay at, photography was no problem.
